Minkiani Pass Trek Itinerary
Day 1Kareri Village To Kareri Lake Trek (13km | 2950m.)
Minkiani Pass Trek is the very least explored trek in Himachal Pradesh. A hike will not only allow you to explore this state, but also give you the feeling of adventure. The pass lies 8 kms from Kareri lake and is a perfect blend of scenery and adventure in Dhauladhar mountain range.
Taking you to the highest altitude of about 14000 feet, this is a 3-day long journey. The total distance you cover on this trek is around 35 km.
Day 2Kareri Lake To Minkiani Pass Trek (8km | 3975m.)
Today is the toughest day of the trek. You will be challenged physically as you will be ascending a lot higher, up to 3975m. You will begin early in the morning after breakfast and trek for about 7 km to reach the top of Minkiani Pass. Explore the Minkiani pass and enjoy the views of surrounding snowy mountains. After spending some time here, you will take your path back to Kareri Lake and camp at the same campsite.
Day 3 Kareri Lake To Kareri Village (13km)
After Breakfast spend some time exploring areas around Kareri Lake. we trek back to the Kareri village. This will be a long day but not tough as we will be descending back to the village.
